My first trail ride back after many years of not riding. I would consider this ride for the more experienced rider.
The three guys i were with who are seasoned (and thankfully very patient) said that it was the hardest they had ever done.
Rocky and steep uphills, and white knuckle rocky downhills, knee high bogs, and the odd river crossing.
Just warning that if you are reasonably new to riding then i would advise you to go with experienced riders who will be patient enough to talk you around this course.
If you do get to the half way mark that advises continuation of course is left, or go right for learners, swallow your pride and go right and enjoy the scenery!
Left is for the 'experienced'!! There were many out there who looked like they were having fun and like i say, the scenery is typical NZ lovely!
