This is our eighth annual Te Anau Basin community fundraiser Trail Ride. It is a Motorcycle NZ (MNZ) permitted event hosted by the Gore & Districts Motorcycle Club. MNZ rules apply.
Heaps of riding on offer :-). Maps available at registration tent.
Main/Family loop track Approx 20km
Lochie's Family Loop track - approx 30km - track has several "intermediate riding" options available.
Advance track - 46km of advance single track with Gold/Extreme diversions - or only 20km if you take the shortcuts. Do it all or pick and choose sections.
A separate Peewee track for the littlies.
BBQ lunch available from 11.30am.
SAFETY MESSAGE:
SideXSides are NOT permitted at our event.
ATV's are only permitted on the main/family/junior tracks.
ATV's are NOT permitted on the intermediate or advanced riding sections.
From Sunday 22 February 2026, online pre-event registration is available. This option will close 4pm Friday 27 February.
Registration is available on the day, from 8am at the Base tent. Bring CASH!

What: Check in or register from 8am
First riders let out at approx. 8.30am (or when Hato Hone St John are on site). Last riders let out onto trails by 3pm. Trails close and event ends at 5pm (unless event organisers close the trail(s) / event at any stage during the day due to weather, traffic control, rider numbers or safety concerns). There will be no refunds for early closure of event trails.
Safety is paramount so any instructions from event organizers to close trails, stop riding, return to Base, etc must be obeyed.
Where: Manapouri Station - 690 Blackmount-Redcliff Road. Turn off SH94 at The Key, travel 7km and turn into paddock/venue entrance. Follow directions and signage. Drive to the weather, road and traffic conditions.
